BMS and Jalo & Jalo establish Joint Venture, becoming one of Europe’s largest suppliers of truckmounted platforms above 30 meter working height

Servicing the telecom sector and the constant expansion of the mobile network forms a significant part of the business foundation for the creation of the Danish-Finnish Joint Venture. However, the new joint company JaloBMS will also continue to focus on other sectors, such as the energy sector, the windmill industry, the construction industry etc.

The keyword is “delivery reliability”!

Finnish lift expert, Jalo & Jalo, and Danish BMS – currently the world’s fifth largest crane company – have just established a new international oriented joint venture company, JaloBMS, specializing in large truckmounted platforms or AWP’s. Together, the two companies now merge their professional competencies and large fleet of platforms, including some of the world’s largest AWP’s, capable of elevating the basket to a working height of over 100 meters.

With up to 100 truckmounted platforms, the new company becomes one of Europe’s largest AWP companies. The goal is, in the long run, to offer sectors such as the telecom sector throughout Northern Europe with delivery reliability through sufficient volume and expertise. Also, work on high voltage powerlines and windmills are among the many tasks that the new joint company sees as an important business area with their truck-mounted lifts with working heights from 30 to 104 meters. The new JaloBMS will initially focus on the markets in Scandinavia and Finland, where they already stand strong, but will also take on projects outside these countries.

BMS Group, headquartered in Aalborg, has more than 30 locations in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, while Jalo & Jalo has more than 10 locations in Finland and Sweden.

Bringing different competencies
“With our large fleet of truckmounted platforms, many locations, and Jalo & Jalo’s more than 50 years of experience in this special industry, we achieve the best conditions to provide our customers with optimal service and, above all, delivery reliability. We aim to become the industry’s preferred partner,” explains Jens Enggaard, Group CEO of BMS.

Sami Jalo, CEO of Jalo & Jalo, adds: “We are excited about the opportunity to work closely with BMS. With their many locations, international network in combination with our large fleet and knowledge in the field, we will stand really strong together and be able to offer our customers a broader range of service.”

Sami Jalo also becomes the CEO of the new Joint Venture, to which Jens Enggaard takes on the role of chairman.
